Street Safe Self Defence Training Co. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Street Safe for Agents mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following information exclusively on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage). This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party:

• Property Notes: Text notes and observations you create about properties you visit.
• Incident Log: Written descriptions, timestamps, and photos you capture to document safety concerns. Photos are stored in your device’s local app storage and are not uploaded anywhere.
• Disclaimer acknowledgment: A flag indicating you have read and accepted the app disclaimer.
• Alert timestamps: The last time you viewed the Alerts page, used only to display notification badges.

Camera and Photo Access

The Incident Log feature allows you to attach photos to incident reports. When you use this feature, the App requests access to your device camera and/or photo library. Photos you capture or select are stored only on your device within the App’s local storage. We do not upload, transmit, or share your photos with anyone.

You may decline camera and photo access at any time. The Incident Log will still function for text-based entries without photos. You can revoke camera or photo library access at any time through your device’s Settings app.

Information You Voluntarily Provide

When you submit feedback or contact us through the App, we collect your email address (optional) and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiries and improve the App.

Incident Report Submissions

When you submit an incident report through the App, your report is sent using your device’s native email client (such as Gmail, Apple Mail, or Outlook) directly to Street Safe Self Defence at Beth@streetsafeselfdefence.com. Because the report is sent from your own email app, your personal email address will be visible to Street Safe Self Defence as the sender — regardless of whether you chose to provide your name or email in the report form itself.

If you did not opt in to be contacted, your email address will not be stored, used for marketing, or shared with any third party. It will be used only to receive your report. If you did opt in to be contacted, Rob or Beth Andress may reply to your email address to follow up on your report.

Report content (incident details, location, description) is used solely for internal statistical tracking and to improve REALTOR® safety training. Individual report details are never shared publicly or with any real estate organization.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store: your location, analytics or usage data, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or any personal information beyond what you voluntarily provide. We do not use analytics services, tracking pixels, or cookies.

How We Use Your Information

Information stored locally on your device is used solely to provide the App’s core features: property notes, incident documentation, and safety resources. Information you voluntarily submit is used only to respond to your inquiries and improve the App.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your locally stored data (notes, incidents, photos) never leaves your device. When you submit feedback or an incident report through the App, your message is sent via your device’s email client to Beth@streetsafeselfdefence.com. We do not share incident report content with any real estate board, association, or third party.

External Links and Services

The App contains links to external websites and services, including our website, AI assistant tools, webinar registration pages, and safety resources. These external sites are not operated by us and have their own privacy policies.

Data Security

All data created within the App is stored locally on your device and protected by your device’s built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). We implement no additional server-side storage for your personal data because we do not transmit it.

Data Retention and Deletion

All locally stored data (property notes, incident logs, photos) remains on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App. You can delete individual notes, incidents, and photos at any time from within the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data permanently.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for use by real estate professionals and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

• Delete any notes, incidents, or photos within the App at any time.
• Revoke camera or photo library access at any time through your device’s Settings app.
• Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data permanently.
• Contact us to delete any information you have voluntarily submitted.
